General Information
Celia and Guy Novo established the Arleen Auger Memorial Fund on February 22, 1995 as a living tribute to their beloved friend, the extraordinary American soprano Arleen Auger.
This organization is dedicated to preserving the art of vocal performance by providing monetary aid to aspiring young singers in need.
To be eligible, a singer must be a pre-professional, under the age of thirty, and in the process of vocal study. The candidate must document financial need and demonstrate a sincere desire to pursue a vocal career similar to that of Ms. Auger.
Study grants and scholarships will be awarded to qualified applicants upon successful completion of a comprehensive review process supervised by our board of directors and musical advisors.
